Hawaii Speakers Hall of Fame Speaker Showcase will be held periodically at the discretion of the organizers.

All showcase participants will automatically become nominees for the Hawaii Speakers Hall of Fame. Induction for that year will be decided by showcase attendees, presenters, and sitting Hawaii Speaker Hall of Fame Inductees at the end of the year and announced in January of the following year (i.e., 2022 inductees will be announced January 2023)

Most showcases will have up to 6 presenters, but we may include more or less at our option.

  • A speaker may showcase up to twice in the year; once during the Jan-May biannual, and again in the July-Nov biannual period. Each showcase must be registered and paid for separately.
  • Speaker showcase time is 8 minutes, which includes the reading of your introduction.
  • Speakers are to record and submit an up to 8-minute video (Zoom, Vimeo, You Tube, etc.). Video’s more than 8 minutes 30 seconds will not be accepted. While we will not edit videos, videos that use highly offensive language, disparage others, promote political candidate or agenda; or encourage acts of violence of any kind will not be accepted. The purpose of the showcase is to promote Hawaii based professional and aspiring professional speakers.
  • While not required, we strongly suggest that you watch some of the presentations current on the Hawaii Speakers Hall of Fame website and on the Virtual Speakers Hall of Fame website to get an idea of the types of messages that other professional speakers are offering.
  • The showcases will be presented live to be viewed by registered viewers and available on the Hawaii Speakers Hall of Fame website for on-going viewing.
  • Participants will be listed on the HSHOF website with your showcase video and can be used for your personal promotional purposes.
  • All showcase participants will become a Hawaii Speakers Hall of Fame Nominee with winners announced early in the following year.
  • This is first come, first served. You are reserving one of the available showcase slots. If you cancel, you will forfeit your payment. Payments will not be transferred to a different month showcase.

The Hawaii Speakers Hall of Fame Showcases are open to all Hawaii-based speakers to participate in, regardless of actual or perceived status, condition, topic (other than as noted above), background, or experience.

  • To register to be a presenter, go to the Speakers Association of Hawaii website (https://speakersassociationofhawaii.org)
  • Fee is $150 for Speakers Association of Hawaii (SAH) members
  • Fee is $250 for Non-SAH members. You can join the SAH directly on the SAH site
  • Once your spot is reserved, email the link to your 8-minute video, introduction, short bio, headshot photo, and website link to info@hawaiispeakershalloffame.org by the provided deadline prior to the showcase date.
